I found yoga at a very strange point in my life—a transition that has changed me for nothing but the better. Yoga is so everything and so nothing all at the same time. It opens your mind, body, and soul through movement, breath, sound, stillness, and more, and once you understand that yoga isn’t just about doing poses or knowing the terminology, it becomes a part of your everyday life. Yoga is a way of life. I feel honored every time I get the chance to teach a class, for every opportunity to share that space and energy with whoever decides to join me.
Looking forward to holding space together!
I began my IHP journey in 2018 and have loved it ever since. I love the space and opportunity it creates to be present and moving our bodies. Every time I show up to class it feels like everything else in the world stops.

AJ walked into a yoga class back in 2012 and was instantly hooked on the heat. She continued her practice while sampling other disciplines including lifting, CrossFit, vinyasa and anything she could get her hands on! She took her first Inferno Hot Pilates class back in March 2020, and the results she achieved inspired her to share this wonderful practice. She began teaching her friends and family at a local Farm while pursuing her IHP certification and since then has spent 500+ hours teaching. She is a life-long learner and is always expanding her base of knowledge. Nutrition is very important to AJ, she lost over 100lbs through clean, healthy eating and exercise. For those struggling with weight loss, she understands your journey. Most recently, she has expanded her practice to include embodiment and inner journeying.
Outside of the studio, you can find AJ in her garden, in the kitchen baking up nutritious treats or hosting sound baths. She loves to share her passions in order to make her community and the world a better place.

In 2003, I found yoga – or should I say, yoga found me – transforming my life in so many incredible ways. After dealing with years of surgeries, medications, and chronic pain due to an autoimmune condition, I was discouraged and depressed. Frustration led me to seek relief, so I decided to attend a yoga class to see if it could help – and I was hooked IMMEDIATELY! The connection of breath and movement quieted my mind, creating an overwhelming sense of peace. As I dove deeper into this 5,000-year-old practice I reaped more and more benefits and found relief from pain on my mat. Eventually, practicing yoga became an essential part of my daily life, filling me with feelings of hope and positivity – all while growing stronger physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Yoga gave me a sanctuary to tap into my inner world, along with the tools to find balance within, and since 2014, I have been helping others find their own sanctuary on the mat. I am forever grateful for those who attend my classes and invite people of all skill levels to attend – accommodating each body through the suggestion of modifications. My classes focus on alignment, breath and meditation while encouraging students to honor and listen to their bodies. Classes are lighthearted and designed for each practitioner to deepen their mind & body connection. I lead and invite all students to be present, create space and trust in their authentic self. Questions are welcomed and my wish is for each student to take lessons learned on the mat and apply them in their daily lives.
“ Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and to endure what cannot be cured.”~B.K.S. Iyengar
